Honestly in regards to hunter representation (and this is probably the only case that Ill actually have this sort of stance) Ive been saying it was lack of skill for a very long time.

Yes hunters had their problems in BC, but the potential was always there.  When you ran across the great hunter either solo or in an arena setting you were made painfully aware of just how powerful they could be, and this was in the BC era.  98% of the hunter community (or at least all the vocal ones and PVE scrubs) lamented endlessly about how terrible and weak the class was.  OH LAWD EVERYONE JUS KEELS ME PET!  O LAWD EVERYONE JUS LOSes ME SHOTS!  O LAWD IT CANT BE THAT I SUCK ITS GOTTA BE THE CLASS!.

Good hunters on the other hand consistantly stated the class was fine, and that people just needed to grasp the class better.  People roll hunter because its easy.  You lvl fast, you get a cool gimicky pet (at least initially, now its so much more) and you can perform some pretty legit DPS.  This naturally will attract throngs of players.  Unfortunately (and again this is the only time I actually believe it) the class attracts a staggering ammount of bad players.  People who cant understand the concept of micromanagement with their pets.  Or the clever uses of flare/volley/traps. 

Again im not saying the class didnt need some form of help after the BC era, but I will flat out deny the class was gimp.  Hunters were the only players where I could go from completely crushing them to getting my ass handed to me.  The good hunters will always do well, its just unfortunate that so few good players chose the class and so many bads ran with it. 

proof of all this is being slapped in everyones face with Season 5.  The class has been given some of the most absurd buffs ive seen in this game since I started.  But (and im completely unsurprised by this) the class representation in arenas is still laughable. 

So what excuse is it now guys?  Are you still going to cite LOS?  What about melee damage?  OH WAIT BLIZ IS GONNA BUFF THAT TOO NOW!  Seriously what else can people cite as a reason for this?  Will they ever admit that they are just bad and that the class is fine?  I doubt it.

Might as well just grant every hunter who dings 80 and automatic 5k arena points and a 2.1k arena rating.  Maybe then they will claim that the class is fine.

 

Im not gonna lie, i still read WoM because of Jasi's entries.  I started reading WoM because of Dahis, and would have stopped when he left had Jasi just been another troll.  Some people actually like a serious non flamebate article once in awhile.  Its a rather nice counter to the retarded pedophile rantings of a self proclaimed rogue hero that no one likes.
