Its funny.  I was looking at new games.  I liked the first peson shooter/rpg aspects of HGL so started looking at Borderlands.  From what I could see, I prefer the point-of-view interface (combination of first person and over-the-shoulder) of HGL better. 

Anyway, I ran accross the single-player patch the people at the above URL have put together, installed it, and played a marksman through part 1.  Now all they need is to add a LAN and shared storage. 

Now are these patches just for hellgateaus or for the game proper.
I had hellgate on my pc but played it a lan center that closed.
I was reinstalling on pc so wanted to make sure had updates.
I like the game a lot so wanted to get playing it again.
