It has recently surfaced that a new MechWarrior game may be in development at Piranha Games, a new studio founded by Jordan Weisman, the founder of FASA Interactive whose company produced the BattleTech series of games, and is most well known for MechWarrior.
Having licensed the old FASA properties from Microsoft back in 2007, it has just been revealed that the company has been quietly working on a new game within the series with the release of a number of teaser trailers on Voodoo Extreme with Andrew Burnes, obviously in the know, vociferously teasing us with a few posts that suggest Piranha will be releasing a full trailer later this week.
“Oh my, what on Earth could this be about? Could it be... a new MechWarrior?! Gee, I suppose it could.”
This news comes in the recent wake of Microsoft's recent decision to permit the development of the upcoming Crysis mod MechWarrior: Living Legends to use the license. Furthermore, VE3D parent IGN claims that it will release a new interview with Jordan Weisman and Piranha Games on Thursday, July 9 at 12:01AM PDT to clear up these “rumors”. Sneaky!
Two more videos of the Phoenix-like resurrection of the ultimate giant robot game can be seen at VE3D.

I think you might be confusing EarthSiege with MechWarrior.
