Zelda Shoes

Nicholas “Kyozo Kicks” Tonks, the guy responsible for the viral Grim Fandango custom Converse shoes is at it again with two pairs of Zelda-themed kicks, each based on the design of the iconic shields from Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.

Unlike his previous creations which were sold on eBay, geeky fashionistas can place orders for the custom shoes directly from the creator's website where each is on sale for £125 or $200. Pricey! He happily adds that the shoes are for sale internationally, so trendy folks from the world over can have a chance to pick them up.

Further details can be found at Kyozo Kicks (via Offworld)

I'd wear them if they didn't cost so much. Then again, I wear a 250 dollar pair of Nike AF1's. Good times.

I say this with a sense of irony because I hate spending money like that anymore.

This is Malaysia/Singapore. I ought to be wearing sandals. But I don't. They just give me blisters.

I'm not sure if it's socially acceptable for me to wear them, being a teenaged guy, but I totally would wear either of them. Here's a question though. What sizes?

I believe details of the sizes are on the guy's blog... so let's see. US size 10 for the brown and US size 12 for the blue.

Conveniently, I fit right between the two. A pity.

I'm a size 9 1/2 so I might just be able to fit into those 10's with a thick pair of socks.

It a shame they are so expensive. There is no way my tiny budget could fit them. (Or my large feet)
