The Barbarian

A slew of new information is coming out of BlizzCon today, with a quad of Diablo III developers revealing plenty of details about the upcoming game. Here's some of the gameplay details they mentioned:

The Fury System

The new Fury system for the Barbarian encourages fast paced gameplay by giving the Barbarian more Fury for killing more monsters. When he uses a skill that uses a massive amount of Fury on a massive amount of monsters, he'll generate enough Fury to perform yet another powerful skill.

What happened to Runes?

Diablo III is to feature an extremely high level of customization but the Rune system isn't available in the build at BlizzCon because they are still being designed, tweaked and changed. The Runes will only be implemented when they are fully developed.

Monsters in Diablo III are designed to be simple because they believe that monsters should each have their own specializations. Complexity and depth comes from combining different monster types. You won't have a monster that does 5 different skills. Having simple monsters allows players to identify monsters quickly in order to kill them – monsters in Diablo III are designed as silhouettes to have different shapes and colors. It's really similar to Left 4 Dead's and Team Fortress 2's character design philosophy.

Monster Types

Swarmers – Weak, Melee. There's more of them!

Ranged – Projectile Speed, Arc, Direct.

Lieutenant – Resurrect, Buff, Spawner. They're high priority targets.

Elite – Tough, stronger attacks, or both. These monsters have a very high priority but difficult to kill.

AOE – Point blank, line, radial, cone. These monsters change the playspace by forcing players to change their tactics.

Weakener – Debuff, Slow, Drainer. These characters make the swarmers and ranged enemies more dangerous.

One offs: Sleeper, Alarm, Bee Hive, Linked, Sapper, Thief. Figure these out!

Magic Find

According to the short Q&A with Geoff Keighley, Lead Designer Jay Wilson mentioned that Magic Find is implemented into Diablo III, but balancing it may require that Blizzard remove the stat from items themselves.

I was really dispointed in the Q & A just due to the people asking the dumbest questions, I got feeling tomorrows will be worse really...

Also, I was kind of suprised at their method of creating skills and runes, it seems alot more efficient to create them at the prior skill stages along with the additional ideas but thats thinking with the idea that there are only 3 runes(which I haven't heard otherwise).

Shame about all the video fails too :(

My first thought about the "Thief" on-off makes me think of the creature from Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past that was eat your shield and you'd have to kill it to get it back. Just my two cents.

So long as we don't find "IMMUNE TO PHYSICAL DAMAGE, IMMUNE TO FIRE, IMMUNE TO FROST" all rolled in one monsters, I'll be happy. I'll also be very happy if I get find a decent level rune every once in a while when I'm level 40 or so, instead of the usual "Eld" or "Tir". Should they do this to Diablo2, I'd start to think about not buying D3.

I'm not sure how the designer does it, but Christian Audigier pulls  Hardy clothing off - these long-sleeve t-shirts from the     hardy shirt line are nothing short of gorgeous, and in no way are gaudy or tacky in appearance - although they can get women very noticed. Short Sleeve Women's  hardy shirts  T-Shirts:   These have more varieties of prints and colors than I have found in the long-sleeve ED Hardy Shoes , and also generally bear a lower price tag.

The  chanel watches vintage online collection is not demarcated as a separate collection as per catalogues since  Chanel bags collection is only meant to give a broader choice and does not feature any new designs. It is meant for increasing the ease with which people can browse past  Chanel bag  and make it a better shopping experience.  Chanel Wallet  also allows customers to ask for their favored designs rather than the ones available in season.
