GuildWars was one of the most beautiful games I've ever played, I even got the collectors edition to get the cool animated emotes 
The original GuildWars I always felt had a huge potential as an eSport, hopefully with the release of the sequel... GW competitive gamers across the world will rejoice.

Yes, I've played Guild Wars myself. Enjoyed it, and can't wait for GW2 to come out to check it out. I do agree that the artwork is very well done and creative.
But when it comes to "the most beautiful games I've ever played" my vote goes to Eve-online.

Eve Online is really beautiful... and the upcoming tweaks to the engine will make it even better. GW was gorgeous when it was released!

That's amazing art, but let's not forget that the game by comparison will probably look extremely mundane and samey.
I would be amazing if someone could pull off a game engine and interface that looked like anything approaching that, but we're a generation of engine and a paradigm shift away from that.

They have even more concept art & even building sketches on http://www.guildwars2guru.com/ It's got the most info on Guild Wars 2 out there.
