From the trailers, diversity is promised and diversity will exist in the game. They've added an economy system, making you able to buy swords, poison throwing knifes and more, it's cool because now you can really make your own version of the assassin and have your weapons of choice instead of getting new weapons at a given time in the game. Here there will be dungeons for you to explore, where you'll encounter, for example, guards who then see you and one of them is going to try to get to another patrol to tell them that you're there, so now you have to think, 'Shall I hunt the guard down or should I go to the treasure?' you can do both of course, but you're going to have to face multiple enemies if you don't kill the guard, so once you've started chasing him he actually might close a gate right in front of your nose and you'll have to find a way around.

Here you'll find trailers, news and more for the upcoming game Assassin's Creed II. I've pre-ordered the 'White Edition' because I'm white... Naw, Black Edition was sold out unfortunately so I had to buy the white edition. The game will be released in the middle of November hopefully!
Peace out!

It's much better than the first, I'll tell you that. I'm working on it as a tester in Bucharest, so I should know. The first submission of the PS3 version is today. The 360 version is getting submitted tomorrow. I don't know about the PC, it's not tested in Romania.

I was actually quite excited about game's release... it seems as though they really did listen to their fans, and might just get this one right. That was until I found out that yet again, Ubisoft is arse-ramming us PC folks.
Despite the fact that they exist in other countries, it's physically impossible to get any sort of Collectors' Edition within the U.S. of A.... and even if I were to have a friend capable of ordering the PC version of the Black Edition, I'm not about to pay for the game _and_ import shipping costs, despite my love of extra swag. The fact that they added three freaking maps to it that by proxy we'll never be able to play doesn't help matters.
As long as they keep treating their PC consumers like second-class citizens they won't see another dime from me. Epic Games has also been terrible about this one as of late; CliffyB needs to go and masturbate with a cheese grater.
