Yahtzee is one of three Australians starring on screen (well, your monitor) in a new show "Game Damage". While I have a slight issue with Yahtzee's lifeless expression through it all, the show is actually okay.
The first episode is informative without the huge bias usually seen in the mainstream gaming press. They actually say that a game in development feels like it could use a bit of work!
There are some sketches in it as well. Master Chief on his travels around... I dunno, somewhere in an Australian mall it looks like, along with a couple more gaming based skits.
It's not got the humour of Zero Punctuation and to me Yahtzee comes off as lifeless and dull when he's on the couch, compared to his ranting self on ZP. After watching it through a few times I've come to the conclusion that apart from the sketches, the entire thing would work much better as a podcast.
Maybe I went into it expecting a little too much funny. As an informative show it works great, as a funny one... not so much.
I hope it's picked up by a sponsor. It has a lot of potential, especially considering all this has been done with just the help of uni students, if the credits are anything to go by. Impressive production!

Ooohhh, possibly another Aussie pc games show... we've only got 1 atm, and it's quite good, so it would be nice to see another one

I don't think Yahtzee does too badly, I don't think he could stay at ZP levels of talking without scriping the whole half hour brutally >.

Yeah for a pilot it's still really good, even if Yahtzee doesn't seem as funny as his ZP self. I suppose at the same time he doesn't want to overshadow the other 2 people, who I thought did pretty well. Matt especially seems to be quite natural at presenting.
If it's not picked up by a sponsor they should still continue it for a while. It would show that they can keep that standard or even improve.
