To celebrate the release of Left 4 Dead, a game that might just hold us over until D3's release, I've decided to post some of my own fiction. Just to get you all in the mood

This story, though written after the release of 28 Weeks Later, bears strikingly resemblance to many of the situations you will face in Left 4 Dead (It even features a farm house!). It's broken up into 3 sizable pieces, which I'll release each week.

Ok, I've been pretty lenient towards the online activation of PC games lately. If it means I get to play an awesome game, I'll put up with it, and have been urging people to do the same. But this may be because I've only come across good ones so far, like Dead Space, that checks the disc once for 2 seconds then never bothers you again.

While not directly related to Diablo 3, this is to do with one of the ex Diablo 2 designers, one who was quite well known as one of the people behind the art in Diablo 2's expansion pack.
Many people would also recognise him for his work on Flagship Studio's now failed game, Hellgate London, however what many more people likely will recognise him for is Shenk the Overseer (a monster in Diablo 2's Act V name after Phil).

There aren't any big tutorials out on the web right now to my knowledge, so I've decided to write my own here and now. If anything, the game is crying for an EvilDaedalus of its own to make some videos on how to play the game. TF2's community benefited a lot from the videos that guy made and L4D could use a bit of that education.
